From ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia to minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, our procedures ensure the highest level of current, compassionate care. This Cardiology position has the opportunity to provide patient care at the State-Of-the-Art 230,000-Square-Foot Health & Wellness HospitalRank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon candidate’s qualifications and experience.Major/Essential FunctionsDiagnose and treat disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system.Conduct early-detection screening and perform diagnostic testing.Develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans.Prescribe medicine and coordinate referrals as necessary.Maintain accurate patient records and charts.Communicate effectively with patients, faculty, staff and administration.Required QualificationsMD/DO or equivalent.Completion of, or in the process of completing a Cardiology Fellowship.Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.Preferred QualificationsBoard Certification in Cardiology.Experience with Electronic Medical Records.Required AttachmentsResume / CV BenefitsTTUHSC is committed to creating an environment where our team members can do their best work, with programs and benefits to support head-to-toe well-being.
