Products are manufactured at company operated facilities in the East, South, and Midwestern United States. We are looking for a Boiler Service Technician to join our team! This is a full-time position located in York, PA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC related systems and equipment. Boiler & HVAC Service Tech experience is required. Essential duties and responsibilities Installs new boiler and/or HVAC units in commercial, or industrial buildings. Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system. Performs routine maintenance on boilers, burners and HVAC systems to ensure proper operation. Instructs customers in the use of equipment. Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing boilers, burners and HVAC units. Installs replacement parts on existing boilers, burners and HVAC units. Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements. Complies with company, customer and industry safety standards. Completes work orders in a timely manner; including appropriate paperwork Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Must pass child abuse clearance as well as FBI check Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Extensive knowledge of boilers, burners and HVAC systems and equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools. Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate boilers, burners and HVAC system. Ability to read operation and repair manuals for boilers, burners and HVAC systems. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent mechanical skills. Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer. Candidates must maintain a satisfactory driving record and successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and an FBI background check, in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Education and Experience High school diploma required. Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required. Five years of related experience preferred.
