What You'll Do

• Provide preoperative and intraoperative nursing care in the OR setting
• Circulate or scrub, supporting various complex surgical cases including robotic, neuro, transplant, bariatric, and urology procedures
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with surgical protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesia, technical staff, and surgeons
• Pass EKG competency exam prior to start as required
• Assist with maintaining a sterile environment and proper instrument handling
• Document clinical activities and patient information accurately

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR or acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• Experience with robotic surgeries (Davinci) and neuro procedures
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required
• Pass EKG competency exam

Preferred:

• Neuro, transplant, cardio/thoracic, or surgical tech experience
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
