Job Overview

American Marine Canvas & Upholstery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Digital Health Coach to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for empowering and guiding individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals through our innovative digital platform. The ideal candidate will combine a deep understanding of health science and behavioural change with excellent digital communication skills to provide personalised support, motivation, and accountability. You will play a crucial part in helping our clients make sustainable lifestyle improvements in areas such as nutrition, fitness, and stress management.

Responsibilities

 

• Provide expert, one-on-one and group health coaching to clients via digital channels, including video calls, chat, and email.
• Develop and implement personalised wellness plans tailored to the unique goals, preferences, and circumstances of each client.
• Monitor client progress, analyse data from our digital platform, and adjust coaching strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Create engaging and informative health-related content, such as articles, guides, and webinars, to support our user community.
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages clients to build confidence and take ownership of their health journey.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records of all client interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with our wider team to enhance the coaching programme and contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital health services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry research, trends, and best practices in health coaching and digital wellness.

Qualifications

 

• A degree in a relevant field such as Nutrition, Dietetics, Kinesiology, Public Health, or Psychology.
• Professional certification from a recognised health coaching organisation is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working as a health coach, ideally within a digital or remote setting.
• A strong understanding of behavioural change theories and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients remotely.
• Proficient in using digital technology, including health applications, communication platforms, and data tracking software.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload of clients effectively.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach to coaching.
