Senior Java Software Engineer

You will design, develop, test, and deliver software improvements while applying strong problem solving and technical judgment to address defects, technical debt, performance challenges, and reliability risks.You will collaborate with developers, technical leads, and architects to advance engineering standards, application modernization, and scalable software delivery. Your experience with modern development practices and AI-enabled technologies will help identify opportunities to improve code quality, automate analysis, and enhance developer productivity. Success in this role requires the ability to solve complex technical problems, make thoughtful engineering decisions, adapt to evolving technologies and priorities, and contribute to reliable solutions that support strong business and client outcomes.What You HaveRequired qualifications:8+ years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applicationsHands-on experience with Java and application development using modern software engineering practicesExperience developing scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications in distributed or cloud-based environmentsExperience applying Problem Solving and Technical Troubleshooting to identify and remediate software defects, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risksExperience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, including automated testing, source control, CI/CD, observability, and application lifecycle managementExperience using AI-enabled development tools or automated code analysis to improve software quality and developer productivityAbility to collaborate effectively across engineering teams while adapting to changing technical and business prioritiesPreferred qualifications:Experience with application modernization, resiliency engineering, technical debt reduction, or performance optimizationExperience developing cloud-native, distributed, or event-driven applicationsExperience influencing engineering standards, development practices, and technical outcomes across teamsDemonstrated Adaptability, Collaboration, and Decision Making when solving complex engineering challengesIn addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
