Personnel Technician

Job Title

Under general assigned supervision to assist in the performance of a wide variety of personnel transactions and clerical functions; to maintain records and files pertaining to a variety of personnel management activities; and to perform other related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Three years of responsible experience in secretarial or specialized clerical work, preferably one year in a personnel operation in an educational setting. • Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, including or supplemented by training or coursework in typing, personnel management practices, and other related areas. • Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. • Must be able to pass a written test and computer test. • Must provide a current typing certificate for no less than forty (40) wpm.
