We have an immediate need for an Inside Sales Representative to provide timely, courteous, and professional customer support while supporting the Sales and Marketing Coordinator and working effectively with customers, vendors, and internal departments.  Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and process customer orders submitted by phone, email, or fax in a courteous and professional manner and respond to customers the same business day with appropriate pricing and delivery information
• Review back-orders and promptly notify customers when a scheduled delivery date may not be met and follow up on sales quotations seven days after the quote is sent to the customer
• Prepare accurate quotations that include correct quantities, pricing, extensions, total costs, terms and conditions, applicable discounts or mark-ups, and surcharges before sending them to the customer
• Obtain price quotations and communicate with vendors professionally and in a manner that supports strong working relationships between company and its suppliers
• Confirm whether vendor pricing is quoted as list or net pricing and ensure applicable discounts are properly reflected when list pricing is provided
• Generate purchase orders associated with sales orders, place orders with vendors for drop-shipped items, and forward in-house purchase requests to the Purchasing Department for processing
• Listen carefully to customer requests and concerns to fully understand their needs
• Communicate how customer issues will be addressed and take appropriate action to resolve them
• Follow through on customer complaints and service issues through resolution while maintaining positive customer relationships 
• Perform other duties as assigned and required

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Must have 5 years inside sales experience 
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
• Strong customer service and organizational skills are needed
• Must be adaptable with solid listening skills
