Pay as Cross Country posts it: about $2,314 a week in all, a taxable rate of $20 an hour plus $1,593.55 a week in housing and meal stipends.

Job Summary

ICU Registered Nurse — Location: Ketchikan, Alaska. This critical care position involves providing advanced nursing care to adult and geriatrics patients in a small, Level IV Trauma Center setting. The role requires flexible shifts, including night and day rotations, with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a remote Alaskan environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, AK RN License (pending review if applicable); 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts consisting of 3x12 hours, primarily nights, with time off between rotations; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, arterial line care, titrating vasoactive drips, administering emergency medications, and providing comprehensive critical care to adult and geriatric populations.
• Required Qualifications: Valid AK RN License or pending approval, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification, ICU nursing experience, and Epic Electronic Medical Record system experience (minimum 1 year).
• Additional information: Candidates must be willing to float to Med Surg and Long-Term Care units as needed; must have at least two references from within the past two years, including one supervisor reference.
