Project Coordinator/Assistant

The role of the Project Coordinator/Assistant is to provide support to the client's R&D team in Bellevue, while working closely with the team and Program Management Department to help create project development plans, determine resources needed, manage schedules, and drive solutions that respond to team, technical and market needs. For this particular job, we are looking for an individual who has a strong track record of managing administrative work, and can also provide aid in managing the flow of processes that will drive successful project execution within the client's work environment.

Key Performance Objectives (not an all-inclusive list of duties and expectations)

• Relevant experience in the coordination of IT projects. Serve as a sub-project lead in large-scale initiatives led by upper level Project Managers or above and contribute in the creation and implementation of key strategies and tactical activities to address project challenges and risks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management methodologies and techniques as required for assigned projects.
• Complete project setup based on information provided by the Project Manager, ensuring all project attributes and variables have been properly input in accordance with the SOW and corporate policies.
• Maintain project documents, including team communication logs to ensure all information recorded is up to date with all changes made reflected timely and accurately.
• Participate in regular team meetings, prepare project management reports and meeting minutes.
• Provide support in monitoring project progress using proper escalation procedures for process-related questions and workflow issues.
• Facilitate project reviews and retrospective meetings to elicit feedback from team members and management team.

The successful candidate will help us establish a set of practices designed to optimize the management of all the projects and related activities within the client, including methodologies, tools and techniques for improved communications, risk management, quality and financial operations.

Requirements:

• 1- 2+ years of relevant project management experience in R&D environment.
