Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the general accounting function, including month‑end close, fixed assets, reconciliations, and financial reporting, within a multi‑entity distribution organization. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting Reconcile fixed assets, AP/AR, and bank accounts Assist with fixed assets and depreciation Support audit requests and compliance requirements Ensure accuracy of financial data across multiple locations/entities Participate in process improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 2+ years of accounting experience Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or inventory‑heavy environments preferred Strong Excel skills; ERP experience a plus Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Compensation & Benefits Pay: $75,000 – $85,000 per year. Benefit offerings for full‑time employment include medical, dental, vision. PTO is offered on an accrual basis. Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law.
