Sr. Data Engineer
CVS Shared Services Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Irving, TX: Sr. Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain large-scale data infrastructure and data processing systems. Duties include: ensuring seamless integration of data from different sources, optimizing data processing and query performance, establishing data quality checks, implementing security measures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and developing data infrastructure, establishing auditing and monitoring mechanisms, establishing monitoring and alerting mechanisms, and exploring new frameworks, platforms, or cloud services.
Hybrid position: remote work permitted but must live within commuting distance of designated office location and remain available to report to office as needed and required. Multiple positions.
Required Qualifications
Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Programming in Java, Python, or R; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); SAS or SQL programming languages; Spark, PySpark, or Scala; Machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling; Software development lifecycle; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Writing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; and Data analytics, data engineering, and data visualization.
Pay Range: $114379.00/year to $185400.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
