Collections Analyst

Azenta seeks a Collections Analyst in South Plainfield, New Jersey to manage accounts receivable, identify delinquent accounts, and coordinate with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues and improve collections performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor aging reports and identify overdue accounts for collection targeting
- Contact customers by phone and email to resolve outstanding balances
- Analyze payment trends and recommend credit holds or escalation actions
- Collaborate with billing, customer service, and sales teams on invoice resolution
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly collection reports and forecasts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of collections or accounts receivable experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage large data volumes independently
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing deadlines
- NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred
Compensation: $55,000–$69,000 base
