Home Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. You will work closely with clients to assist with daily activities while promoting a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment Assist with mobility and medication reminders Document and report any changes in the client’s condition or needs Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in home care or related field is an asset Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation to and from client homes Clear background check and any required certifications based on state regulations Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00 paid semi-monthly Flexible work schedules Opportunities for training and professional development Supportive and caring work environment About the Company University Home Care Inc is committed to providing high-quality home care services to the Westland, MI community.
