Cabinet Maker (Production)Reports to: Wood Department Manager.Position Status: Full Time.Shift: Days 6am - 2:30pmResponsibilities and Duties:Working knowledge of woodworking tools & machineryWorking knowledge of cabinetry & other various wood structures/productsExperience working with laminates.Experience in manufacturing and assemblyMust be able to take accurate measurements (English System – In)Must be able to read and interpret shop drawingsHighly oriented to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressure and to meet deadlinesFlexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloadsMust be a team playerGeneral Competencies:Minimum requirements5+ years minimum experience requiredPhysically able to lift materials (50lbs or more)Bi-lingual (Spanish – English) a PLUS but not requiredOther duties, as assigned.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing and walking.Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.Work Environment:This job requires exposure to the following environmental conditions:Wet or humid conditions (non-weather)Work near moving mechanical partsWork in high, precarious placesFumes or airborne particlesToxic or caustic chemicalsOutdoor weather conditionsExtreme cold (non-weather)Extreme heat (non-weather)Risk of electrical shockWork with explosivesNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
