Full Stack Engineer

Location: Denver, CO (80202) — Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $135,000 – $185,000

About Our Direct Client: Our direct client is on a mission to improve America's supply chain efficiency and sustainability. Using advanced AI technology, they reduce empty miles and idle time created when matching shippers and carriers. Their agentic AI platform automates workflows across the supply chain ecosystem—reducing carbon emissions, lowering costs for consumers, and improving the lives and earnings of over 3.5 million truck drivers across the U.S. They operate in a fast-paced, team-first environment built on ownership, impact, and mission-driven execution. Their world-class engineering team builds products that simplify and solve complex real-world logistics challenges at scale.

A Few Fast Facts:

  • 1M+ shipments per year
  • $1B+ in freight under management
  • Cashflow positive since inception

About the Role: We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who thrives in one of the most challenging business environments: legacy supply chains, enterprise customers, startup speed, and fast-changing real-world operations. Engineers at our direct client are builder-owners who transform ambiguous, messy problems into scalable, automated systems that reshape how freight moves across the country. In this role, you'll work across the stack to design, build, and operate mission-critical services—embedding AI agents, scaling high-volume systems, and removing inefficiencies through automation. If you want to build world-class systems at the intersection of AI and logistics, this is the job.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, build, and operate services and UIs used daily by shippers, carriers, and drivers.
  • Embed AI/LLM capabilities (Vertex AI, open-source models, agentic tools) to automate decision-making and accelerate development.
  • Stabilize backend services and scale high-volume systems.
  • Own problems end-to-end across the product lifecycle.

Technical Stack:

  • Backend: Golang, Python, Postgres, Redis
  • Frontend: TypeScript, Angular (v13+), Vue 3 / SvelteKit
  • Infrastructure: GCP

What Sets You Up for Success:

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems at scale.
  • Strong background in component-driven front-end development (Angular, Vue, React, or Svelte) and modern UX patterns.
  • Fluency in SQL schema design and data modeling for transactional and analytical workloads.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage LLMs/AI agents to solve engineering problems and boost velocity.
  • Strong product thinking and the ability to align engineering decisions to business value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Proven track record of end-to-end ownership of complex problems.
  • Experience stabilizing and scaling large, complex codebases.

Benefits:

Our direct client is committed to employee development and long-term career growth. They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Paid Time Off and company holidays
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Flexible Spending & Health Savings Accounts
  • Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability
  • Company-paid parking or RTD pass
  • Voluntary income-protection benefits (Life, AD&D, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Accident Protection)
  • Tuition assistance
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Free or discounted legal services
  • Industry-leading hardware and productivity tools

Our direct client is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position will remain open until the right candidate is hired.
