Oil & Gas Field Service Technician (Contract)

Job ID#: 38155 Technician, Field Services – Contract around $20 Karnes County Duties: Perform maintenance, repair, and construction of SWD (saltwater disposal) facilities Handle general labor tasks and supports field operations based on project needs Assist with construction, installation, and maintenance of SWD sites and equipment Load/unload tools, pipes, pumps, and materials Repair pipelines, unload lines, and transfer systems Install piping for truck offload systems, tank batteries, and transfer lines Maintain pumps, valves, VFDs, and related equipment Perform tank cleanouts, plumbing tasks, and general site housekeeping Inspect and repair seals on pumps and related equipment Conduct preventative maintenance, including downhole pump repairs Clean and maintain vehicles, tools, and job sites Follow all safety procedures, policies, and reporting requirements Submit accurate timesheets and adhere to assigned schedules Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Oil & gas experience and knowledge of SWD facilities preferred Mechanical aptitude or experience preferred Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Proficient with hand and power tools Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., skid steer, forklift, manlift, polyfusing, pump mechanic) Founded in 1998, Professional Alternatives is an award-winning recruiting and staffing agency that utilizes technology and relationships to deliver top talent.
