Working alongside experienced Estate Planning Attorneys, you will independently draft sophisticated estate planning documents, coordinate high-volume workflows, mentor drafting contractors, and serve as the firm's in-house WealthCounsel expert. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estate planning professional who enjoys autonomy and process improvement, and who delivers exceptional client service.JOB DETAILS:Full-time, Direct-Hire or Contract-to-Hire opportunityLocation: Primarily On-Site in Plymouth, MNHybrid flexibility available after onboarding (typically 1-2 remote days per week; Fridays are most flexible)Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexibility as neededCompensation: $85,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on qualificationsGrowing law firm with significant expansion plans and opportunities for long-term career growthTHE RIGHT STAFF offers a basic benefits package including employee-paid health plan and insurance options, paid ESST, and referral bonuses while on contract.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIndependently draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, deeds, funding documents, and related estate planning materials using WealthCounselReview attorney notes and accurately prepare customized estate plans with minimal supervisionServe as the firm's primary WealthCounsel resource, providing troubleshooting, best practices, and drafting guidanceCreate, update, and improve internal drafting templates and workflowsCoordinate drafting projects with contractor paralegals and review completed work for quality and accuracyMentor junior and contract paralegals on drafting standards and firm processesCommunicate directly with clients to obtain information, answer questions, and provide case updates throughout the estate planning processConduct deed research, obtain land records, complete title searches as needed, and coordinate electronic and paper deed recordingsPartner closely with attorneys to manage a high-volume estate planning practice that is expected to exceed 400 estate plans annuallyHelp improve processes and support the continued growth of the firm's expanding estate planning teamMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of estate planning paralegal experienceHands-on WealthCounsel drafting experience is required (non-negotiable)Extensive experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, deeds, and related estate planning documentsProven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with minimal attorney oversightExperience reviewing work and mentoring junior or contract paralegalsStrong understanding of deed preparation, recording requirements, and real estate documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesParalegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and legal experienceWHY JOIN THIS TEAM?Join a growing law firm expanding into multiple statesWork alongside experienced estate planning attorneys in a collaborative environmentPlay a key role in building processes and supporting a rapidly growing practiceOpportunity to become the firm's subject matter expert for WealthCounsel draftingHigh-impact position with meaningful client work and long-term career growthAPPLY NOW!THE RIGHT STAFF wants to help you succeed!
