Senior Paralegal

Sr. Licensing ParalegalWe're looking for a Senior Licensing Paralegal to join our Legal & Risk team. This role will support the Associate General Counsel and play a key role in managing alcohol and tobacco licensing requirements across our operations.You'll manage licensing activities from application through renewal, maintain licensing records and processes, research regulatory requirements, and partner with teams across the organization to help ensure compliance. You'll also work with outside counsel and regulatory agencies and support broader Legal & Risk initiatives.Manage state, county, and local alcohol and tobacco licenses across multiple jurisdictionsPrepare and file license applications, renewals, surrenders, transfers, and amendmentsManage licensing updates related to officer changes, new and existing locations, and legal or assumed name changesResearch and interpret applicable licensing laws, regulations, and requirementsProvide licensing guidance to onsite teams and leadershipCreate, maintain, and update licensing procedures, guidance documents, and supporting materialsDevelop and maintain a license tracking system to monitor licensing activity and requirementsCoordinate fingerprinting and background requirements for officers and managersDevelop and provide alcohol and tobacco training for operations teamsPartner with internal teams, outside counsel, and regulatory agencies to address licensing needsSupport Legal & Risk projects and other department initiativesMust-haves include 5+ years of legal experience in a regulatory or licensing capacity, a paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree, ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment, ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and experience with database development and testing.Nice-to-haves include experience managing alcohol and tobacco licenses within the food service industry, experience working across multiple jurisdictions, and ability to take initiative while collaborating effectively with others.Compensation: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00This position is based at Elior's Minneapolis, MN office.
