Lab Technician

Laboratory Technician position in Wilmington, DE. Key responsibilities include analytical testing using spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques. Responsibilities Perform analytical testing using spectroscopy, microscopy, and chromatography techniques Operate laboratory instruments and equipment while following established methods and safety procedures Accurately record, process, and report data using notebooks, Excel, and LIMS systems Conduct quality checks, troubleshoot issues, and complete testing in a timely manner Assist with lab organization, equipment maintenance, and occasional lab moves Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field required Experience in materials characterization and laboratory testing (UV-vis, IR spectroscopy, microscopy, chromatography) Strong understanding of basic chemical principles and polymer material properties Proficiency with Microsoft Office and LIMS systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with laboratory equipment and gas cylinders Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team Pay and Schedule Pay: Up to $30.00/hour (based on experience) Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible schedule possible) Weekly paycheck $30.00 per hour Benefits Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter Access to Adecco’s Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan Paid leave (Paid Sick Leave, etc.) and holiday pay where applicable This company respects all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding criminal background checks.
