Distribution Associate

Aerotek is Hiring Distribution associates in Branford, CT!

We're looking for reliable distribution associates to help support our busy auto parts distribution center. In this role, you'll pick and prepare orders, use handheld scanners, update inventory, and help keep products moving to stores and customers around the world.

What You'll Do

• Pick and pack auto parts for customer and store orders

• Use RF scanners to locate and pull products

• Move items throughout the warehouse and prepare them for shipping

• Update order and inventory information in the system

• Work in different warehouse areas as business needs change

• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

• Help ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse or order-picking experience preferred

• Experience using RF scanners is a plus

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Willingness to learn different tasks and work in multiple departments

• Ability to stay active and be on your feet throughout the shift

Preferred Experience

• Forklift operation

• Inventory control or stock management

Work Environment

This is a large, fast-paced warehouse with plenty of movement throughout the day. You'll spend most of your shift walking, picking orders, using scanners and computers, and working alongside a team to keep operations running smoothly.

This is a Contract position based out of Branford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
