LEAD CLEANER

Job Description

• Lead and coordinate the work of assigned cleaning team members.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing.
• Inspect work areas to ensure quality standards and service expectations are met.
• Train and mentor new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and request cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and equipment malfunctions to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and floor care as assigned.
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, customers, and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to pass applicable background checks and drug screening requirements, if required by the client site.
