Machine Operator

Are you skilled with machine operation and assembly?  Can you read from blueprints and wiring diagrams?   We are in need of a Winding Machine Operator to join our tenured team in Shelton!  Hours are on 1st shift 7:30am-4pm, Monday through Friday Pay starting at $21-23+/hour, depending on experience This person must have some prior experience working in a machine operator role and ideally have knowledge of electrical assemblies and manufacturing diagrams.   If you have this experience and would like to apply, please share your resume to View email address on randstadusa.com for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities

This person will be assembling parts needed to produce transformers and other electrical technology.  Duties will include reading from blueprints or work instructions to assemble parts using hand tools, inspecting parts, winding metal materials, testing and packaging final product.

We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals that can work well with building items from scratch using hand and power tools while reading from work orders. 

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
