Machine Operator and Assembler Positions – Derby / Ansonia, CT

Join a global company right here in Connecticut!  Their manufacturing plant in the lower Naugatuck Valley area (Derby / Ansonia) is expanding its production team and seeking general Machine Operators. This position involves operating various general machines, performing in-process inspection, and handling tasks such as sorting, cutting and packing parts. This Machine Operator / Assembler role could be the perfect fit for you!

• 1st shift Machine Operators - $17.50 per hour
• 2nd & 3rd shift Machine Operators - $19.00 per hour 
• 1st shift Assemblers - $20.00 per hour
• Contract to hire

Machine Operator / Assembler Responsibilities:

• Operating machines and secondary equipment.
• Inspect parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Small piece assembly including wiring and soldering

Skills & Experience:

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery.  
• Injection molding experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of in-process inspection procedures.

Experience assembling small pieces including wiring and soldering.
