Controls Engineer

Position: Controls Engineer Location: Wilmington, NC / Greenville, SC (Onsite) Experience: 5-12 Years Position Type: W2 only (Long Term) Employment Eligibility: Only USC / GC Key Responsibilities Expertise in integration of NUMAC with the H31 communication platform, developing and validating detailed system requirements. Define and document system requirements for communication between NUMAC and EGD systems. Develop communication protocols and requirements for NUMAC interaction with Plant UDH. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including control system engineers, software developers, and plant operators to ensure system compatibility and performance. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, nuclear engineering, or related field. Experience with small modular reactor (SMR) control systems such as BWRX-300. Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with software tools used for system design and testing. Proven experience with control system communications, preferably in nuclear power plant environments. Strong knowledge of communication protocols and systems integration (e.g., DCS, SCADA, PLC communication interfaces). Experience with system requirements development, prototyping, and final design processes. Familiarity with NUMAC, H31 platforms, EGD systems, and Plant UDH communication architectures is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
