General Job Description We are actively hiring Electrical Helpers for our team in Laredo, TX and are looking for dependable individuals who are ready to start quickly. You’ll work alongside experienced electricians while helping complete residential electrical installations and supporting the field crew. Key Duties & Responsibilities Assist in house rough‑in work, including measuring, cutting, and pulling wire Install trim components such as plugs, lights, fixtures, and switches Carry materials and tools to support the leadman and crew Clean and maintain the work area and equipment Maintain a professional working relationship with the leadman and team members Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to management when needed Follow company safety policies and promptly report hazards Take direction effectively and contribute to a productive team environment Other duties as assigned Minimum Education: None, Minimum Years of Experience: 0-2 years. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Preferred: Electrical experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Preferred: Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical layouts Strong communication and problem-solving skills Team‑oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb throughout the workday Lift, carry, and move materials and tools up to 50 pounds Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Work at heights using ladders and lifts on multi‑story residential construction sites Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing job duties Maintain consistent attendance and stamina for full work shifts Work Environment Work is performed on active residential construction sites Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, humidity, dust, and noise Job sites may involve unfinished structures, ladders, and uneven terrain Safety procedures and PPE are required at all times License Required: Yes.
