Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week: 06:30 - 17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend shifts as part of a rotation
• On-call requirement: Approximately 1 weekend/month
• Must be willing to work holidays and take call as needed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid KS RN License and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience within a Level 1 trauma center
• Strong, current cardiac scrub and circulating experience required
• Willingness to float between surgical departments as needed (Bell OR, Cambridge OR, SPD)
• Ability to thrive in a nicotine-free facility
• Must attend new employee orientation (Mon-Tues)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert, compassionate patient care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary surgical team in high-acuity cardiac procedures
• Rotate between scrub and circulating nurse roles as needed
• Maintain flexibility to float between OR departments
• Perform effectively in fast-paced, challenging situations
• Uphold hospital policies regarding scheduling and holiday coverage
