Product Strategy, Autonomous Laboratories

Agilent seeks an experienced product strategy leader to define the future of laboratory automation and autonomous systems. This senior role involves translating customer insights and emerging technologies into actionable business strategies across the enterprise, working at the intersection of science, technology, and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

Assess impact of AI, automation, robotics, and digital workflows on laboratory operations and identify practical applications
Evaluate new products, partnerships, and business models; develop strategic and financial cases for investment decisions
Develop and refine Agilent's autonomous laboratory vision by synthesizing scientific, technological, and economic trends
Engage scientists, laboratory leaders, and key customers to identify workflow bottlenecks and unmet needs
Lead cross-functional initiatives translating enterprise insights into product concepts, roadmap changes, and investment cases

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree strongly preferred
12+ years experience in product strategy, product management, research, consulting, or technology
Life sciences, analytical instrumentation, diagnostics, or laboratory technology background strongly preferred
Ability to understand complex markets and translate trends into business strategy
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with senior leaders and technical teams
Strategic and systems thinking with pattern recognition across markets and technologies
Executive communication and influence skills without direct authority

Compensation: $143,220-$252,656 CAD annually, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits
