Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their desired functional outcomes.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply researched-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily life activities.
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to provide integrated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones in understanding therapy methods to foster progress in everyday settings.
  • Track and Document Progress: Continuously monitor clinical results and modify treatment strategies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Opportunities for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and readily available.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
