- Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their desired functional outcomes.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply researched-based interventions to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily life activities.
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Engage with other OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to provide integrated and comprehensive care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones in understanding therapy methods to foster progress in everyday settings.
- Track and Document Progress: Continuously monitor clinical results and modify treatment strategies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Opportunities for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and readily available.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
