Job Description
  • Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise individualized therapy plans to assist them in reaching their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks
  • Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate effectively with OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques that will promote ongoing recovery at home
  • Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor clinical progress and adjust therapies as necessary to ensure patients remain on track
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
