About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its community-centered organization with a focus on membership development, marketing, and active engagement in the local business community. The successful candidate will be an energetic self-starter, comfortable in public-facing roles, and skilled at building and sustaining relationships. Responsibilities include managing the onboarding of new members, recruiting and retaining members, engaging with the public on social media, and representing the organization at various events. The role also involves substantial day-to-day leadership, event planning, and attention to detail in all aspects of the position. Applicants must have a background in nonprofit management, association management, or a related field, with a proven track record in community engagement and business development. Strong writing, communication, and public speaking skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, proficient in various digital tools, and have experience in marketing and social media content creation. A valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and the ability to be a visible presence in the community are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience with volunteer board management, familiarity with association management software, and existing connections within the local business community.
