The Rehab Aide assists in the operation of rehabilitative services, maintains the treatment area, and ensures that client living spaces meet program standards and client requirements.Essential FunctionsSupports, encourages, and problem solves with clients through rehabilitation exercises and activitiesProvides positive role modeling and teaches social and behavioral skillsAssists clients with daily routines as needed to support independent livingDistributes medications as necessaryFollows agency documentation policies for all phases of treatment, including assessments, care plans, treatment transitions and discharge plans, and client careCollaborates with internal and external multidisciplinary teams regarding clinical aspects of treatmentAdheres to ethical and legal standards set by licensing boards and state regulationsMeets direct care expectationsParticipates in ongoing professional development activities to meet licensure, certification, and/or other agency requirementsRequirementsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalentExperienceNoneLicenses/CertificationsCPR certificationValley de-escalation certificationDriving positions require a minimum age of 21 and a current driver's licensePreferred QualificationsPrevious healthcare or social services aide experience
