Employment Associate - Litigation & Counseling Job Requirements Our Firm seeks an associate attorney with at least 2 years of post‑JD employment law experience to join our robust and growing Employment Team. We handle a variety of complex employment matters for sophisticated clients, including but not limited to, defending companies against employment‑related claims in litigation and agency disputes, providing practical advice on the ever‑changing employment laws and regulations, drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts, and counseling clients on a range of employment issues and training. We are locally and nationally known to defend clients in cases involving claims of discrimination, harassment, breach of employment contracts, trade secrets, restrictive covenants, unfair competition, retaliation, violation of public policy, wage and hour class actions, labor relations, and many other issues. We are looking for a star associate who will produce excellent work and be a contributing member to our collaborative Firm culture. Qualified candidates may have the following attributes: Experience providing advice and counsel to clients on employment matters, representing clients in employment litigation, and drafting workplace policies and employment agreements. Strong legal research, legal writing, and verbal communication skills. Enthusiasm, attention to detail, an entrepreneurial and ownership mentality, and the ability to contribute to and collaborate with the team. Qualifications: Juris Doctor from a top‑rated law school with strong academic credentials. Former judicial law clerks encouraged to apply. Must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in Colorado or willing to complete the process to waive into Colorado Bar. Position Type: Full‑time, in person role. Yearly 1800‑hour expectation. Salary Range: $180,000 to $230,000, depending on experience. At year‑end, this position is eligible for an hours‑based bonus and may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
