Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist About the Role As an Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the peak performance of our advanced manufacturing fleet, including CNC machining centers and robotic welding cells. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime through proactive troubleshooting and technical repairs, directly impacting our facility's overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC HMC units, robotic welding systems, and automated assembly lines. Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures to restore production capacity rapidly. Lead equipment rebuild projects and document all maintenance activities to maintain high operational standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing technical upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machine reliability and support plant-wide productivity goals. Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on machine operations and safety protocols. Required Skills High School Diploma or equivalent with a strong background in industrial maintenance. Proven expertise in troubleshooting CNC mills, welding robotics, and complex hydraulic systems. Solid understanding of electrical circuits, PLC logic, and sensor integration. Comprehensive knowledge of industrial safety regulations and compliance standards. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation. Preferred Skills Completion of formal coursework in industrial mechanics or hydraulic systems. Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
