Secretary/Treasurer

The employer is hiring for a part-time Secretary/Treasurer to work 30-35 hours per month. Job Duties include the following: Monthly: Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month. Email monthly meetings for publication, prepare draft of the agenda and post agenda, prepare minutes of meeting. Reporting: Complete quarterly Treasurer's Report for the Board/Minutes and annual State of Montana Financial Report. Accounting: Prepare warrant checks for payment of expenses for signature by board at monthly meeting. Balance bank account monthly. Payroll: Provide timesheets in order to prepare checks for signature. Water Assessments: Obtain updated ownership information from Appraiser's office. Update Assessment spreadsheet. Tax Statement Insert: Prepare Tax Statement to deliver to County Treasurer Grant Management: Prepare grant reports and submit to government agency as required. General Secretarial Duties: Maintain email contact information for members, attendance of monthly meetings and prepare minutes. Elections: Prepare Resolution to call for election for upcoming opening for a Board Member. Please submit an resume to Job Service to forward to the employer.
