Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and welding structural materials using the flux core process . You'll need to be proficient in reading blueprints, executing precise welds, and handling materials efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship and can work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand welding specifications and requirements.
  
• Fit structural parts together accurately based on design specifications.
  
• Perform high-quality flux core welding to join structural materials.
  
• Handle materials by safely loading, unloading, and staging them.
  
• Collaborate with the shop team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in flux core welding.
  
• Strong ability to read blueprints and fit structural parts.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in your work.
  
• Experience in a similar role is preferred, but we welcome all qualified applicants to apply.

Working Conditions & Compensation

• This is a full-time position with standard working hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday . Voluntary overtime may be available.
  
• Work will primarily be performed indoors in our shop, with occasional outdoor tasks for material handling.
  
• Salary will be determined based on a weld and fit test, your work history, experience, and overall knowledge.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $25.00
