MIG/TIG Welder

Structural Steel WelderMcGill AirClean and McGill AirPressure are subsidiaries of United McGill, with approximately 50 years of experience providing industrial air pollution control solutions and pressure-processing equipment. The Structural Steel Welder will work in a structural steel shop, welding and cutting metal components used to manufacture large, custom-engineered systems.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on various types of metals.Operate welding and metal-cutting equipment.Cut and burn metal materials ranging from sheet metal to 1-inch-thick steel plate.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.Select and use the appropriate welding electrodes for each job.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.QualificationsPrevious MIG/TIG welding experience required.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.Familiarity with welding electrodes and their applications.Ability to read, write, and understand English.Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 75 pounds.High school diploma or GED required.Vocational or shop-class training preferred.Must provide personal welding gear.Work ScheduleDays: Monday–FridayHours: 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.Overtime: Required as neededNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
