This position is a full-time Staff Physical Therapist in Spartanburg, SC. Known as "Hub City," Spartanburg is one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the country, where employers like BMW Manufacturing, adidas, Milliken & Company, and Denny's headquarters, along with Wofford College and a revitalized downtown, are drawing new residents - and new patients - every year.

PHYSICAL THERAPY AT PROMOTION

GROW WITH US: RESIDENCY, MENTORSHIP & EDUCATION

Education and mentorship aren't a perk at ProMotion - they're core to how we practice.

• Accredited Orthopedic Residency: We are the host partner for Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) accredited orthopedic residency and it's offered here in our Spartanburg clinic! This program is built to prepare clinicians for the OCS board certification. This program offers one-on-one weekly mentorship time in direct patient care for our residents with our in-house clinical mentors, didactic coursework, and 4 off-site weekend intensives hosted by MUSC. We are proud to be able to offer this program!


• In-House Mentorship Program: Our Team has built a clinical mentorship program that is offered to every clinician. This is a 42-week program with structured, blocked time that combines concepts from CEU Courses hosted by Evidence in Motion, the Institute of Clinical Excellence, and our team's individual prep work for our own OCS certifications and includes didactic learning time, case review and skills practice organized by body region.


• $1,500 Annual CEU Allowance: Money for you to use to continue learning and advancing toward the certifications and specialties you care about elevating your career.

• Support for Specialization: Whether your interest is orthopedics, sports, spine, or another niche, we invest in helping you build real expertise.

Our Story

Founded in 2015 by Nancy and Andrew Imbeau, ProMotion started with one small clinic in Lake City, SC and a simple idea: create a practice where physical therapists could thrive, patients could achieve life-changing goals, and a culture of collaboration and excellence would shape every decision. Since then we have grown into a trusted provider of outpatient rehabilitation across South Carolina without loosening that commitment.

Orthopedic Residency Program, in partnership with MUSC

We are the host partner for an accredited orthopedic physical therapy residency through the Medical University of South Carolina, offered at all five of our locations. The program is built to prepare clinicians for board certification as an Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS).

This is what room to grow actually looks like. You learn alongside clinicians who have already done it. Dr. Nancy Imbeau, Dr. Rob Wager, and Roy "Edwin" Belser Jr all hold OCS credentials and practice here every week.

Very few private practices our size offer a path like this. Most clinicians pursuing OCS do it alone, on their own time, at their own expense.

A schedule that fits a life Part-time roles start at a two day, eight hour per week minimum. We would rather have an excellent clinician two days a week than lose them entirely. Quality Over Quantity is a guiding principle, not a poster.
