This role will report to the Director and Assistant General Counsel, Commercial, and will serve as a legal partner to cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the company.This is a full-time position based out of one of our US offices. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.Technologies You’ll UseIronclad, SFDC, AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Harvey)What You’ll DoSupport Fivetran’s sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendmentsPartner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business riskAdvise on contractual issues related to data protection, privacy, security, IP, liability, and compliance ina SaaS environmentProvide practical, business-focused legal guidance to help close deals while maintaining scalable contracting processesSkills We’re Looking For4 to 7 years’ experience negotiating and drafting sales agreements, including in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company and/or law firm.Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS contextAbility to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentStrong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholdersHighly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyHigh attention to detail, with demonstrated self-initiative that drives a desire for impact and achievement.Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdictionBonus Skills​CIPP (US) certification is a plus. #LI-HYBRID #LI-SR1The compensation range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire compensation for the target position and level, and may include sales incentives or target bonuses depending on the role.
