Native Sun Kitchen & Market is looking for all deli positions to join our team! We are rapidly growing. Responsibilities for Kitchen:

• Maintain food safety standards in accordance with local regulatory requirements;
• Maintain clean and safe work stations;
• Work with your team to prioritize production needs for the day;
• Prep vegetables and proteins using knives and other kitchen tools in accordance with our recipe standards;
• Kitchen: Operate ovens, stove tops, immersion blenders, food processors, and shredders in service of production goals;
• Make yourself available for scheduling. It’s retail, so weekends are required.

Responsibilities for Front of House:

• Be a helpful and enthusiastic member of your team;
• Create exceptional customer experiences through engagement;
• Assist customers through the ordering process, and ensure that their orders are sent to the proper station;
• Make the best smoothies and sandwiches in Jax Beach;
• Produce and package grab and go foods;
• Proactively engage guests and ensure they have a great experience.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail;
• General knowledge of Food Safety practices;
• Positive Attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Prior food and beverage experience heavily preferred.

Must Be Able To:

• Stand for up to 8 hour shifts
• Operate in hot or cold work environments (occasional trips to a walk-in freezer);
• Kneel and bend
• Lift up to 30lbs in front of house, up to 50 lbs in back of house
• Work weekends

Minimum pay is $15/hour, but starting rate is based on prior experience. Eligible full-time team members are offered a benefits package, and all team members receive a 25% discount on merchandise.
