Experience: Prior experience in medical records management or administrative healthcare

Pay rate: $33.50 per hour

What You'll Do

• Create, maintain, and securely store medical records, files, logs, and related documentation
• Sort, label, file, and retrieve medical records in compliance with retention policies
• Maintain inventory of clinic supplies and monitor sign-in/out logs
• Prepare routine medical and dental reports as needed
• Read and interpret medical instructions, policies, and reports
• Coordinate transfer of external referrals and medical records transfer
• Assist in routine documentation and administrative tasks related to patient records

What You Need

• Valid healthcare or medical records-related certification preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in medical records management or healthcare administration
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and comprehend medical instructions and documentation
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information

This role supports a busy healthcare setting, ensuring that patient records are accurately maintained and easily accessible. The Medical Records Clerk will play a vital role in facilitating smooth operations within the clinic, supporting healthcare providers with accurate documentation and record management. The position is contingent upon timely ICE clearance, which is currently taking 4-6 weeks, with expedited processing available. Candidates can start as soon as clearance is received.
