Performs skillfully in life threatening emergencies, matching demands and resources during crises situations.QUALIFICATIONS:Current Wisconsin RN LicensureAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)BSN Completion: Upon hire, any non-BSN nurse with less than one (1) year of licensed Registered Nurse experience will be required to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within five (5) years of hire.Emergency Departments:American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire dateAmerican Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire datePHYSICAL DEMANDS:Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistanceJob classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job dutiesManual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care proceduresWORK ENVIRONMENT:Frequent exposure to sharp objects and instrumentsOccasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shockOccasional high noise level in work environmentStanding and/or walking for extended periods of timeTransporting, transferring, positioning patients and/or equipment from one location to another; little likelihood for injury if proper body mechanics and procedures are followedPossible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agentsOccasional contact with aggressive and or combative patients.Scheduled Weekly Hours:24Scheduled FTE:0.6Location:Oshkosh Expansion Hospital - Oshkosh, WisconsinOvertime Exempt:NoWorker Shift Details:Nights
