What this job involves:The Senior Construction Project Manager role involves leading end-to-end project delivery by developing and executing project strategies, budgets, and schedules that align with both JLL and client objectives. The position serves as the primary client contact, guiding stakeholders through all design and construction phases while coordinating due diligence, contractor selection, and cross-functional team collaboration. The successful candidate will maintain master schedules across multiple projects, manage performance against critical milestones, and ensure timely project completion within established parameters.What your day-to-day will look like:Act as the primary Senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the projectDevelop and execute project specific goals, schedules, budgets, and strategyEstablish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet both JLL and Client needsMaintain open, transparent communication with clients, vendors, stakeholders, and internal partners throughout project lifecycles, documenting expectations and escalating issues appropriatelyCoordinate any necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal teamDevelop detailed project budgets based on historical and market data and clearly defined set of budget assumptionsDevelop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects within required timeframesUnderstand and consistently deliver on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Prepare various RFPs needed for vendor and contractor servicesManage bidding process, including vendor selectionForecast spend monthly on all projects in alignment with Client's Capital PlanFacilitate all critical project meetings and coordination exercises with internal and external stakeholdersGuide the Client and architectural team through the design process from concept to final construction documents.Manage construction contractors through onboarding, construction, commissioning, punchlist, and closeoutTravel as required throughout the Upstate NY region (Estimated 25%)Position is work from home based with travel throughout the upstate NY regionRequired Qualifications:5+ years as a Project Manager or similar roleAbility to clearly communicate to the client and team to achieve project goalsStrong working knowledge of architectural drawingsHighly organized with strong analytical skillsStrong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.)Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change ordersExperience managing interior fitout and building infrastructure projectsExtensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS ProjectPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution with preference towards a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementExperience directing senior level project management services on client projectsExperience with RFP preparation for vendor and contractor services and selection process managementKnowledge of vendor and project team performance management for compliance with contractual requirementsUnderstanding of potential liabilities and risk identification, management and mitigationExperienced in managing Client relationshipsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
