What You Will Do:

• Create and revise engineering drawings in Creo
• Complete detailed layouts and design documentation using Computer Aided Design tools
• Release engineering change notices
• Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5M) or desire to learn
• Provide technical support on major programs and interface with Lead Mechanical Engineers and Chief Engineers to support design objectives
• Contribute to project teams through design development and will be expected to ensure that the established procedures are followed in the creation of technical data packages, while meeting program design objectives
• Work from requirements to help develop unit design concepts and perform design trades. Contribute to developing technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems
• Provide support to suppliers who are fabricating components and assemblies

What You Will Learn:

• Creo, cPDM (Common PDM), Winchill, and other training opportunities within the RTX learning center.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Associate's degree in a CAD-related field or 5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with 3D MCAD solid modeling software
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with ANSI drawing standards
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances)
• Experience with electronic packaging
• Current DoD security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
• Proficiency with CREO or similar 3D solid modeling software
• Exposure to manufacturing processes or experience in manufacturing and assembly support

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
