Location 13075 Manchester Road,Des Peres, MO, 63131,United States Job Category Civil/Site Planning, Construction, Design Coordination Description BASIC FUNCTION: Under general direction, leads and manages civil/site planning, design coordination, consultant oversight, permitting support, and construction documentation for the design, development, and construction of new and existing hotels and commercial real estate. GENERAL JOB DUTIES: Work directly with the Development Team, Architects and Engineers in exploring multiple conceptual site planning options for potential hotel/commercial parcels. Prepares complete civil construction document packages.Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Ensure documents are permit-ready and constructible. Direct and manage outside civil consultants, including scope coordination, technical review, schedule tracking, and quality control of consultant deliverables. Manages civil deliverable schedules and proactively resolves design, permitting, utility, and constructability issues. Participates in project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and during construction administration. Leads all aspects in the construction administration of project assignments, including review of shop drawings and submittals, quality control, andsite visits. Provides technical judgment on grading, drainage, stormwater detention, utility planning, ADA compliance, and site constraints. Facilitates coordination withconsultants,contractors,fabricators, specifications, andregulatory agencies under general supervision tomeet overall projectobjectives. Maintains close collaborationwith design team, consultants, contractors,andvendors. Requirements GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLAND ABILITY: Research and understand local municipalities code and regulatory requirements and direct the design team or consultant to reflect such requirements in the design documentation. Perform grading, drainage, stormwater detention calculations, utility planning and sizing and all civil engineering functions needed to capture site and grading approvals with local municipalities. 3. Excellent AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required. Proficientwithallaspects of MSOffice. 4. Experience in construction document preparation andfield observation. 5. Working knowledge of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design. 6. Skilled in leadership, organization, business writing,andcommunication skills. 7. Must be able towork independently, multi - task, be a team player, possess acan-doattitude, and be a self - starter. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam, be registered in the State of Missouri (or other) as a Professional Engineer PHYSICAL SKILLS: Requires ability to work at computer for extended periods of time; requires abilitytowalkand stand for extended periods of time;requiresability to lift 15 - 25 pounds intermittently; may require ability to lift heavy equipment on an as - needed basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr
