AISC Advanced Bridge Fabrication Welder Ready to put your welds on bridges across America?
JGM Fabricators & Constructors is growing our AISC Advanced Bridge Certified operation in Sinking Spring, PA . If you take safety and quality personally, and you know your way around the AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code , we want to talk.
Quick facts- Pay: $22–$34/hour (experience & certifications matter)
- Schedule: 5:00 AM start, 10-hour shifts, 30-minute lunch
- Facility: 75,000 SF bridge fabrication shop, expanding capacity
- Projects: Lift bridges, railroad bridges, trestles, bus terminals, main spans, approaches
- 2+ years in structural steel welding
- AWS certifications (D1.1 or D1.5) preferred
- Experience in an AISC fabrication environment a plus
- Detail-obsessed about weld quality, dimensional accuracy, and safety
- Collaborative, improvement-minded, and reliable
- Perform code-quality welds using FCAW , GMAW/MIG , SAW , and SMAW
- Interpret weld symbols, WPSs, and shop drawings
- Handle prep, grinding, gouging, and cleanup
- Work safely with overhead cranes, fixtures, and heavy plate assemblies
- Adhere to AISC , AWS , and OSHA requirements
