Senior Accountant

We're looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage core financial operations and contribute to accurate and timely reporting. This role involves handling daily ledger activities, supporting monthly and annual close processes, and collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance and deliver financial insights.

Primary Duties

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations during reporting periods.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with external audits and ensure alignment with required standards.
• Maintain internal controls to protect company assets.
• Identify areas for improvement in accounting workflows.
• Implement changes that improve reporting accuracy and team efficiency.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting tasks including reconciliations and report preparation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support compliance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• Minimum two years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Four to five years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience

• Fixed Asset accounting knowledge.
• Familiarity with large ERP systems
• Background in GAAP and tax reporting for distribution-focused operations.

Compensation: $105k-120k annually
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
