Senior Corporate Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Corporate Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting department supporting the broader finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Corporate Accountant

Location: Remote (US based)

Pay Range: $43-$45/hr

Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)

What's the Job?

• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations

• Analyze financial data, identify variances, and prepare management reports

• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and resolve accounting issues

• Participate in projects aimed at improving automation, reporting quality, and close efficiency

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including corporate or GL accounting roles

• Hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

• Strong Excel/Sheets skills, including working with large data sets and basic modeling

• Effective communication skills with the ability to summarize findings clearly
