About the Position

# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Overland Park, Kansas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 hours guaranteed; self-scheduling with every 3rd weekend requirement**Highlights:**- 25-bed ICU with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio- Advanced procedures including open heart recovery, bedside cardioversions, bronchoscopy, CRRT, and Impella support- Alaris pumps and GE monitors with MediTech documentation system- Unit staffing includes charge nurse, unit secretary (7a-11p), and dedicated educator- Floating limited to telemetry for patient care or as helper/resource to other areas- Organization actively pursuing Pathway to Excellence designation with unit working towards Unit of Distinction status**Requirements:**- Active RN license- BLS and ACLS certifications required- Critical care experience required- Strong communication skills and adaptability to change- Neuro and trauma experience preferred- Royal blue scrubs required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong collaborative teamwork environment that values excellence in patient care.
