Whether you are assisting in routine wellness exams or helping with emergency procedures, you’ll get meaningful, hands‑on experience every step of the way. Externship Highlights Experience the full spectrum of care—from preventive medicine and diagnostics to surgical and emergency services. Work closely with experienced, teaching‑focused DVMs. Practice communication skills with clients, techs, and the veterinary team. Develop confidence in exams, treatment plans, dental procedures, and more. Program Details Duration: minimum two weeks, up to four weeks, flexible based on your schedule. Eligibility: veterinary students encouraged to apply; clinical‑year students eligible for stipends. Travel Stipend: up to $2,500 available for third‑ and fourth‑year students (clinical portion).
