Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP)or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing Rheumatology team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital . Responsibilities:

\n

 

\n

• Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
\n • Perform joint aspirations/injections, interpret imaging, and order appropriate lab monitoring.
\n • Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small-molecule therapies.
\n • Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and infusion protocols.
\n • Collaborate with referring PCPs, orthopedists, and pain management specialists.

Qualifications:

\n

 

\n

• Current and valid NP or PA license in the state of Illinois.
\n • Minimum of 1–2 years of specialty APP experience, preferably in a Rheumatology or internal medicine setting.
\n • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.
\n • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
